This stunning Eastern White Pine Log Chalet features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a large living/dining area, and a massive covered deck with breathtaking views, providing ample space for friends and family. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids).

The house includes 2 levels of living area and a finished basement. The main living area offers a handsome 20ft cathedral ceiling, with sliding doors that open up to a 450sq ft. covered deck. The entire house includes baseboard heating and central AC throughout.
On the main level, you’ll find:
- Entrance through the foyer, open to the large living/dining area
- Warm, charming living/dining space of 400sq ft. that includes a massive 20ft cathedral ceiling, a working wood-burning fireplace, a large living area that can comfortably seat 6 people, and a dining table that sits 8
- Large, covered deck featuring outdoor seating/dining as well as a gas grill that can be enjoyed year-round with stunning views of the Windham mountains and ski resort depending on the season
- Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans and standard kitchen and cooking equipment
- 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double + twin bunk beds
- Full bathroom
On the upper floor, you will find:
- 2 mezzanines offering an ideal working space on one side including a monitor with possible laptop connection, and a lounge reading nook on the other side
- Master bedroom and en-suite bathroom complete with both a shower and bathtub
In the basement, the garage is not accessible for cars as it is set up as a mud room for you to comfortably gear up for ski or hiking days. A study room with minimal furniture offers a second working space with a desk and monitor, as well as access to the laundry room which includes both a washer and dryer for guest use.
There are security cameras on the property, monitoring 24/7. To respect your privacy, no cameras are inside the guest-accessible part of the house. Tampering, disconnecting, blocking visibility, or any other alteration of the security cameras’ proper function is strictly prohibited and may result in loss of deposit and immediate cancellation of booking. Please let us know if you have any questions related to the security cameras.
Cars can be parked either in the large driveway, or up to 2 under the deck if you prefer to avoid inclement weather. There are steps to access each floor (including the main floor) of the house.
Snow plowing (winter): The house is located on a private road which is plowed and cleared when snow reaches ~3in. During periods of snow or ice, residual snow will be present and a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. No refund of any kind will be provided for inclement weather. Due to shortage of staff/resources, the snow removal company does not clear out the steps to access the main entrance door, but a broom and shovel will be easily accessible if need be and should only take seconds to clear out.
With access to summer and winter activities all within 5-minute drive, this house is the perfect blend of quiet retreat and accessible attractions all year long. Local attractions include:
• Windham (~7 mins) and Hunter (~20 mins) Mountains: skiing and mountain biking
• Snow tubing (~7 mins)
• Several golf courses (closest only 7 minutes away)
• Hiking (~5 mins)
• Town of Windham (~5 mins) and Hunter (~20 mins) - restaurants, bars, mini golf, movie theater, ice cream, gas station, convenience stores, liquor stores...

• Woodstock, Hudson, and other charming towns all within reasonable driving distance (~45 minutes)
The chalet is located in a private road, 5 minutes away from the Windham Mountain.
Garbage will be collected on Mondays. Our service provider will be entering the garage/mud room to collect and dispose of garbage, so do not be surprise if you see him coming in.
Lawn care (spring through fall): lawn mowing is scheduled every 2 weeks, our team will work as quickly as possible to minimize any disruption.
Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited indoors and will result in loss of security deposit. Additional fees may incur if odors or damages are noticed. Smoking outside is permitted but proper disposal of cigarette in the trash is required to avoid loss of security deposit.
Pets are permitted but please contact us prior to booking with pets as some breeds and sizes have restrictions due to the terms of the insurance policy.
House is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each stay. Additional cleaning services can be provided at a fee for longer stays.
We offer high speed cable internet, allowing ample broadband to download and stream on multiple devices at once (200Mb download speed). Note that upload speeds are limited to 10Mb (cable internet in the country has lower upload speeds); this is sufficient for several people to work at the same time (and be on Zoom calls), but if you require to upload significant sized files, you should expect longer upload times.
Please ensure you fully understand our cancelation policy. Even the best-laid plans can change, given the current Covid-19 pandemic and the potential for travel restrictions in some states, and the unpredictability of travel interruptions, such as, weather, family emergencies, sudden illness, natural disaster, etc., we highly recommend our guests purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment.
By booking, the guest agrees to sign our house rules, and pay an additional $500-1,000 deposit prior to check in (amount depending on groupe size and booking history). Booking guests acknowledge that access to property will be denied until deposit is paid in full or reservation is forfeited without refund. Payment is potentially fully refundable if all house rental rules are honored. It is your responsibility to make sure ALL guests in the group honor all House Rules.
